April partnership
April partnership
Pediatric occupational therapists work with children and their families to promote functional independence in all their "occupations" - and for children, their occupations are activities that enable them to learn and develop life skills, be creative and play, and thrive in their relationships with others. These include getting dressed, socializing with peers, participating in mealtime, working through routines, going to school.
Common areas we focus on: developmental delays, challenging behaviors, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, Autism, complex trauma, feeding disorders, anxiety, fine + gross motor delays, and visual deficits
Santosha Wellness’s monthly emphasis aligns with National Occupational Therapy month - April. Playschool families will have access to education resources and a proactive approach to learning will include an “OT play session” at playschool.
