At The Little Gym of Kalamazoo, we focus on growing skills, learning and having SERIOUS FUN! With classes starting at just 4 months old and going up to 12 years of age, we implement our three-dimensional learning into each class.
Get Moving: Developing flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination through various physical activities and gymnastics skills.
Brain Boost: Nurturing listening skills, concentration and decision-making that benefits your little one well beyond the gym.
Citizen Kid: Promoting sharing, teamwork, cooperation, and leadership through social interaction with friends.
At playschool you are a part of a family that supports your child beyond the typical school day. There will be opportunities for community events, such as a play session at The Little Gym!
About the Little gym
Melissa is the owner at The Little Gym of Kalamazoo. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University. She then went on to teach kindergarten for several years before opening the gym in December of 2018. Melissa was introduced to The Little Gym while living in North Carolina. Her oldest daughter began taking classes at 4 months old at The Little Gym of Fayetteville, and she instantly fell in love with the program.
Most recently Melissa has taken time away from teaching classes to care for her youngest daughter. While she still operates the behind-the-scenes portion of The Little Gym, her amazing director, Ms. Kassidy and the rest of their team are continuing to provide a loving and nurturing place for families in our community to learn, play and grow.
