Activities:
Water color name reveal
Kids love the magic of a “hidden” surprise! Write your child’s name with a white crayon on paper, then let them paint over it with watercolors. As the paint spreads, their name is revealed like magic! This activity is a fun way to practice name recognition while sparking creativity.bingo dauber names
Bingo daubers (or dot markers) are a preschool favorite. Print your child’s name in large letters and invite them to dot along the lines. The repetitive motion helps strengthen fine motor skills and gives little hands practice following letter shapes.Name puzzle pictures
Turn your child’s name into a personalized puzzle with a picture of them! Kids will work on making their picture and letter recognition is added in as they complete the picture.
To this week from our partners: Brookdale Senior Living announcement!
I am so excited to share our newest community partnership with Brookdale Senior Living!
The impact of intergenerational relationships is so valuable—for both our littles and the residents. Starting this month, Allie’s Playschool families will have the opportunity to attend a play session the first Friday of every month with the residents at Brookdale.
These mornings will include crafts, read-alouds, and snacks, creating space for connection, laughter, and shared joy.
Our very first meet-up was this Friday—the residents were so eager to meet the littles, and the littles had a blast too!
