From Our Classroom to the Community: Spooktacular halloween week
Novemeber 3rd, 2025
Last week in our classroom: halloween festivities
This Week at Playschool 🎃
Circle time this week was all about Halloween safety!
Since Halloween can sometimes feel a little spooky, we talked about the difference between real and make-believe Halloween items. We also played Simon Says: Halloween Edition, where we practiced things like walking with a grown-up and looking both ways before crossing the street on Halloween night!
For arts and crafts, our week was packed with sensory fun. Kiddos used shaving cream and witch fingers to draw shapes, letters, and lines, “cleaned” pumpkins, and even made monster yogurt bark (yes—you read that right, seven toddlers happily ate spinach!).
To this week from our partners: PElvic health with MINdset PT
November starts our partnership with Mindset Physical Therapy - all things Pelvic Health focused.
To this week from our community: Brookdale Trick or treat
Our hearts are full! We’re so thankful for the Brookdale residents who welcomed us with open arms for some Halloween fun this past week!
