From Our Classroom to the Community: Serving up kindness

Novemeber 17th, 2025

Last week in our classroom: thanksgiving food and kind hearts

🍂 This Week at Playschool

Circle time this week was all about “I can be kind, and I can be polite.” There’s something so precious about toddlers pointing to their hearts and declaring, “I am kind.” 🧡

We sang songs all about kindness, and throughout the week the kiddos took such ownership—proudly acknowledging when they made a kind choice or helped a friend.

For arts and crafts, we leaned into Thanksgiving fun! The kiddos created their own plates filled with a variety of Thanksgiving foods, practiced fine motor skills with a corn craft by placing Cheerios on glue dots, and enjoyed sensory fun by making letters and shapes in shaving cream on a pumpkin pie mat.

To this week from our partners: PElvic health with MINdset PT

To this week from our community: mini mamabear

With this month’s partnership focus being pelvic health focused with Mindset PT - playschool invited the mamas of the playschool family and the community to attend a Mini Mama Bear session. This event was so near and dear to my heart. Three years ago I reached out to Mindset as I was having severe back pain. Fast forward to today, I still go to their gym multiple times a week and have come so far in my journey with their help. It was such an honor showcasing this amazing resource our community has for all mamas!

A special shout out to Juicy Leaf LLC, House of Figs Asethetics, Zen Dens and Kara Markovich with Origami House for helping making this dream a reality by spoiling the mamas with goodie bags and a finishing the night with a sound therapy session.

Here’s to community, connection, and caring for the mamas who give so much.
