From Our Classroom to the Community: you are the apple of my eye

September 22nd, 2025

Last week in our classroom: apples

Sensory table: apple pie

  • filler (oatmeal)

  • small manipulative (small reusable pie trays, green/red pom poms, felt circle and strips)

  • various scoopers

Activities: there are so many fun apple activities

  • apple stamping: cut real apples in half and dip them in paint to make fun apple prints

  • apple paint splat: fold a paper plate in half with paint inside and press — open it up for a surprise design!

  • apple sticker labels: draw apple outlines in different colors and let kids trace them with dot stickers.

  • apple fruit loop sort: create colorful apple trees with construction paper and have children glue on matching Fruit Loops (with some snacking along the way).

To this week from our partners: Brookdale’s bake sale

We are so thankful for the Brookdale resident’s as they hosted a bake sale for Allie’s Playschool. It warmed my heart to read that the residents made over 144 cookies and made the whole place smell like a bakery to support the kiddos! Thank you Brookdale!.

This is the last week for Antoniotti Chiropractic’s monthly focus, we will be discussing 3 Ways Chiropractic Adjustments Help with Constipation. Our next monthly focus aligns with National Physical Therapy month with Sara Needler Pediatric Physical Therapist and owner of PhysioKids PT.
